live about 30 miles north of the Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado
Springs. My property has been tinder dry. The grass outside my sprinkler
area is dead and brown. Today we got a combination heavy rain and hail
storm that lasted about an hour and dropped approximately 2 inches of
rain. We really needed this precipitation in Colorado.
Now another storm cell has come overhead (about an hour after the 1st storm cell) and we're getting even more rain.
