In case you’ve watched last week’s episode of “The X Factor USA”, then you know how botched the broadcast was. Fox screwed up royally when they first postponed the broadcast for a short while. Then, they allowed some of the show to air, revealing a partial list of the final sixteen competitors. During the show, it randomly cut to an episode of “The Mindy Project”, before fully replacing the feed with the latter. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our full recap here.
The baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants pre-empted the airing of the show in its entirety. Simon Cowell took to his official Twitter page to say, “Have no idea what is happening to the schedule tonight. Have heard the whole episode will be shown next Tuesday. Sorry.” Later, he tweeted, “It what’s known as a total f up.”
Now, we’ve learned that the editors for the show are working overtime to re-cut the episode so that the show can run on Tuesday in full. An insider said, “So much was shown the other night, that we’re re-editing the show into an hour-long episode.”
The full episode of the Judge’s Houses will air on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30PM EST.
