Now that Tom has been away filming several movie projects, Katie has been left alone to take care of their daughter Suri. It goes without saying that it’s been a hard year for Katie thus far.
Apparently Katie has been trying to reconnect with her old friends following her split from Tom. She is said to be reaching out to the friends that she had before she began her relationship with the actor. Did he not approve of her list of pals? We have to wonder!
A source has revealed that Katie’s old friends aren’t interested in catching up with the newly single actress. The source said, “Several ex-friends gave Katie the cold shoulder because she’d stopped returning their calls after her marriage – it was like she’d dumped them.”
It seems to us that perhaps Tom came in between her friendships with people? Does being involved with this man mean that you have to put every other aspect of your life on hold? Is he all consuming when he’s with a woman?
The source went on to say, “She says friends should understand that marriage to Tom, Scientology and raising Suri had become her whole life. Now that Tom can’t tell her who she can buddy up to, Katie desperately wants to re-establish old friendships – but it’s looking like too little too late.”
