Clint Eastwood on Ellen: Democrats Think I'm Senile!

Clint Eastwood stopped by Ellen Monday and spoke out about his now-infamous "Invisible Obama" speech at the RNC. He called the response "interesting."
"The Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile," he said, smiling. "The Republicans knew I was... I was actually just trying to enjoy myself."
The former mayor of Carmel, Calif., went on to stay that his political views are more Libertarian - "where Republicans used to be" - than strictly conservative.
"You're socially liberal, leave everybody alone, but you believe in fiscal responsibility and you believe in government staying out of your life," he explained.
For that, the crowd gave the Trouble With the Curve star a round of applause:

Dina Lohan on Dr. Phil: What a Train Wreck!

She can try to blame it on editing all she wants, but Dina Lohan's interview on Dr. Phil certainly lived up to its insane billing. Woman is either drunk or off her rocker.
We recap the highlights of Dina Lohan on Dr. Phil below ...
Dina Lohan on Dr. Phil Show
  • Asking "Are we rolling?" numerous times. No, you're not rolling. Moron.
  • Trying, and failing, to fist-bump the TV doc. So awkward and hilarious.
  • Smirking and saying "the truth will prevail" without elaborating at all.
  • Responding by sticking up both middle fingers, flipping off the host and his entire crew after Phil deigned to call Lindsay's mom a "fraud" and "inauthentic."
  • Describing why she didn't call for help the time Michael Lohan broke into her house, Dina explained that "Cell phones weren't as inept as they are now so I didn't really have that." Phil's reply: "that word (inept) doesn't fit in that sentence."
  • Responding to tough questions, "You're in your little, tie, your little shoes." "I'm in my little tie and my little shoes?" Phil asks. "What the hell does that mean?"
  • Leaving Phil speechless, expressionless and emotionless most of the time. His face was the highlight of the interview, if only because he was clearly stupefied.
If nothing else, we sympathize with Lindsay Lohan more now. Upbringing matters a lot in life, and she drew just about the shortest straw there is in that regard.

Jon Stewart to Debate Bill O'Reilly in Air-Conditioned Auditorium

According to Mitt Romney, 47% of Americans are content to loaf through life and rely on the government for their financial needs.
That figure and that stance may be controversial, but this is not: 100% of Americans ought to be excited for October 6 at 8 p.m. EST.
That's when Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly will hold a debate at George Washington University, as the Comedy Central and Fox News hosts may come at each other from different sides of the political spectrum, but have actually appeared on each other's shows and clearly hold a high level of respect for one another.
Are you listening, member of Congress?
It will cost $4.95 to live stream the event and half the proceeds will go to charity. Watch a promo now for what is being dubbed "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium."

Chris Brown Probation Hearing Delayed; Community Labor Hours at Issue

Chris Brown will have to wait to check in with an LA judge regarding how much community service he's done since he beat Rihanna senseless back in 2009.
A court appearance scheduled for yesterday was pushed back a week to allow authorities more time to prepare the controversial singer's probation report.
At issue: The number of hours of community labor - roadside cleanup, graffiti removal, etc. - that Brown's done and details such as where, when and what.
TEAM BREEZIE
After Brown's previous L.A. court appearance, in February 2011, the judge changed a restraining order regarding Rihanna from "stay away" to "do not annoy."
That means he can be with/near her as much as he wants unless she files a complaint, which she obviously won't. We all saw Rihanna and Chris Brown kiss.
Chris has completed a 52-week domestic violence education program but still must do 180 hours of community service and five years of supervised probation.
He's more than halfway through it, but some people can't or won't forget (not that he does himself any favors) what he did to earn that assault conviction.
A British group recently began slapping warning labels on his most recent release urging shoppers not to buy the discs because "This man beats women."
Like the Parental Advisory stickers, just affixed by average citizens who are not fans of Chris Brown, apparently. That's some serious dedication on their part.
Chris also fielded criticism regarding a new tattoo on his neck, which some claimed was of a beaten Rihanna, but he claims is just Day of the Dead-themed art.

Kate Middleton Greeted By Topless Women on Solomon Islands

Talk about hitting close to home!
With Kate Middleton topless pictures causing uproar in Europe, the Duchess of Cambridge was greeted by residents of Marau, Solomon Islands, in traditional attire.
Read: No tops.
Kate received a warm welcome during the latest stop on their Asian tour and was all smiles when given a traditional necklace and a topless sculpture of a female figure.

She and husband Prince William are taking legal action against French tabloid Closer, the first magazine to publish topless pictures of Kate on holiday last week.
Despite the lawsuit threat from the royal family, Ireland's Daily Star and Italian magazine Chi soon followed, running the Kate Middleton nude and topless shots.
"She's not our future queen," Daily Star editor Mike O'Kane told the BBC.
"The Duchess is no different to any other celeb pics we would get in, for example Rihanna or Lady Gaga." O'Kane was reportedly suspended over the decision.
Lawyers for Britain's royal family are attempting to stop further publication, filing both civil and criminal complaints against the parties responsible. Stay tuned.

Mariah Carey on Nicki Minaj Feud: What Nicki Minaj Feud?!?

It's been two days since Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban were confirmed as American Idol judges on Season 12.
And there's already talk of contention among panelists.
American Idol Team
According to show sources, Mariah Carey was peeved from the outset over Minaj possibly joining the judging table, considering the outspoken rapper would give the pop legend a run for her diva-like money.
Asked by reporters yesterday about the supposed tension between her and Minaj, Carey dismissed the chatter, saying: "How can we feud in two days? I think a feud takes a little longer."
Nicki didn't have anything negative to say about Mariah, either, labeling her very brief Idol experience - which includes a couple hours of auditions - so far as "wonderful."
Concluded Randy Jackson: "We're having fun, dude. We've been having a good time. There has been a lot of laughs."
Well... darn. Where's the gossip related fun in that?!?

Gorilla Carries Toddler, Plays With Her Like Doll in Amazing Viral Video

Conservationist Damian Aspinall let his 18-month old girl play with a 300-pound gorilla and filmed it. That dangerous situation turned out to be kind of cute, actually.
The video, shot 22 years ago, was kept private because he feared a public backlash. Now that more than two decades have passed, the activist said that he wanted to release the video to show that gorillas can be very gentle creatures:
Aspinall has worked with and studied gorillas for decades and was therefore confident that his daughter would not be harmed. Still, more than a few people are criticizing the activist for the video of letting the gorilla carry and play with his toddler.
His defense? That the wild animals knew him so well, it wasn't even a concern:
“The reality is that I was brought up with gorillas and my family was brought up with gorillas ... if you’re accepted into the family then it really isn’t risky at all.”
His Aspinall Foundation works to return gorillas to the wild.
